Otto is a game-changer. It works like a combination bit, distributing pressure evenly between the horse's mouth and nose, combining a regular bit and a hackamore. A tandem bit is often suitable for horses that are strong but sensitive, get hot, and cannot tolerate excessive pulling on the mouth or overly strong bits. The great thing about this bit is that you can also use it without the mouthpiece, as a normal, longer hackamore.

• Lock it: Always make sure the shanks are locked before you start.

• Smart installation: When locking the stabilizer, turn the black screw hole outwards, away from your horse's mouth corner.

• Correct fit: Choose a bit size one size larger than normal for the best fit.

• Safety first: You can use Otto without a bit as a hackamore, but never without a nosepiece or a chain/curb strap. Always remember to add the lower strap to the second lowest ring when using Otto without a bit to stabilize the shanks.
